Every night, our public space is transformed into a glittering and bumping skating disco, with both lighting and music taken from your favourite dance floor. Here’s your chance to pick out your best – and worst – dance moves and see if they work as well on the ice as off. A fun activity for the whole family!

Tip: Get Your Camera Out!
Dancing in front of the camera is something we can all relate to. But have you tried doing it on ice before? There are lots of cool dance moves that are much easier on ice than on a regular dance floor – just try to do a moonwalk on ice, it’s a real hit! Ask someone to hold the camera while you do it, and wham, you’ll have lots of great content to post to your social media. Don’t forget to tag @scandiceadventure with your dance moves too, then we’ll be extra happy!
More About our Skating Disco
Ice, skates, disco lights, music… need we say more, really? Maybe not! But we take the opportunity to add some more useful content, just in case.
Our skating disco will kick off in our public area every evening when the sun goes down. Of course, it varies a bit based on what month you come, but if you’re with us in the evening, you can expect the lights and sound to be on and the skating disco dance floor to be filled with happy, dancing skaters. We offer mixed music and hope to find a mix that appeals to as many people as possible, but with a focus on songs that people want to move to.
All visitors are of course welcome to come to the skating disco, regardless of age and previous skating experience. But while it’s great fun to move to music, it’s good to keep an eye out for other skaters nearby too, so you don’t accidentally breakdance into each other!
During the day, the public area is mainly used for children and young people, where they can learn to skate. Skating assistants in the form of penguins, polar bears and pandas will be available for support at this surface, even during the skating disco.
