Pond hockey is the mother of hockey. With this spontaneous game on frozen lakes, it all began, and it is here at our pond hockey pitch that you come to satisfy your hockey cravings. Challenge your friends, colleagues or family to a traditional match. The rules that apply are the same as for regular hockey, where no slap shots or tackles are allowed. We will also organise tournaments and “hockey for beginners” days during the winter, where everyone is welcome to participate.

More About Our Pond Hockey
It was on frozen lakes that hockey was born. Classic pond hockey is still a common phenomenon, mainly in North America, where small spontaneous hockey games as well as big tournaments are constantly organised during the winter season. Traditionally, frozen lakes are prepared for hockey games, on a surface smaller than a “normal” hockey field. The more limited spaces and restrictions on tackles and shots make pond hockey a great opportunity to practice your club technique and game sense, but both speed and passing are important qualities to be successful in this form of the game. The game is played four-on-four without a goalkeeper, with an unlimited number of substitutes. But above all, pond hockey is a great way to socialise, in the same way that a neighbourhood pitch invites spontaneous sport and fun.
On our pond hockey court, as well as on the ice cross court, helmets are required. We would also like to add that this pitch is only for recreational hockey. Therefore, we do not allow associations or teams to book the pitch for organised training or matches.
